You tend to work on a wide range of projects from editorial to branding, communication and exhibition design. Which of these do you enjoy most, and why?
The moment I enjoy the most is the opening of an exhibition, when the public begins to enter the space, to interact and observe. It's when you forget the busy period before, the unexpected things that came at the most inappropriate moments, or the fact that you did not sleep well for a few days. From each project, I try to take something I can apply in the future or improve on future projects. Interacting with people, organizing steps, and implementing solutions or things you discover by chance. Everything has a role in the current or future project.
Do you follow a specific creative workflow?
I can't say I have a recipe that works for every project because too few projects are alike. You work with different clients with different timelines and deadlines, so each project has its own pace. But lists have always worked for me. Even if they are to-do lists on projects, keyword lists that occur when I work, or visual references.
One of your favorite projects you've ever worked on and what you enjoyed most.
Local Design Circle is the project for which I would do anything, anytime. It is a very long-term project. We have plans through which we want to grow the local design community and everything involved in making and implementing a well-done design.
What moves you to create?
Ideas appear when you don't expect them. I have different forms to write them down, in diaries, or notebooks, on lost sheets of paper on the desk, on the phone, or on the laptop. I always return to these notes when I need to and try to develop and see their potential.
What makes an artist/artwork authentic, how do you see this?
I believe that authenticity has many layers — external and internal — transposed by the author that the viewer can interpret as authentic or not, depending on the mood, perspective, and background of the said viewer.
Do you have a specific artistic style? How can you describe it?
A constant chromatic experiment.
A project dear to your heart that we should look out for in the future?
For now, I can only say that I am planning an experiment involving different types of paper and ink. For that, I have added over 40 books to my library.
Any message you'd like to share with the world that you haven't expressed through your art?
Try something new every day, you will like it or not, but at least you tried.
Now, it's your turn. Create or trade authentic NFTS.
